Believe in God and fear Him (L-3302)

هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ ذَلُولًا فَٱمْشُوا۟ فِى مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا۟ مِن رِّزْقِهِۦ وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلنُّشُورُ 15 ءَأَمِنتُم مَّن فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَمُورُ 16 أَمْ أَمِنتُم مَّن فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًا فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ كَيْفَ نَذِيرِ 17 |

15. Huwal-lazii ja-'ala laku-mul-‘arza zaluulan- famshuu fii manaa-kibihaa wa kuluu mir-Rizqih. Wa ilay-hin-Nushuur. 16. 'A-‘amintum-man fis-Samaaa-'i ‘any-yakh-sifa bi-kumul-‘arza fa-‘izaa hiya tamuur. 17. ‘Am
‘amintum-man-fis-Samaaa-'i
‘any-yursila 'alay-kum haasibaa.
Fasata'-lamuuna kayfa naziir. |

15. He
it is Who has made the earth subservient unto you, so Walk in the paths
thereof and eat of His providence. And unto Him will be the resurrection (of
the dead). 16. Have
you taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not cause the
earth to swallow you when lo! It is convulsed? 17. Or
have you taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not let
loose on you a hurricane? But you shall know the manner of My warning. |
The first work of the mankind must be to know his Creator and Lord. It is commanded: Allaah is That Who made the earth tame for you. Now you can walk among its slopes and heights. Eat provision from that which Allaah Almighty has produced from the land for you. But you must bear in mind that you will have to be reproduced after death and presented in His Court on the Day of Resurrection. Understand it thoroughly that everything of the heavens and the earth is under His Command and obeys His every Order. Do never consider that you are perfect ruler of the earth. Fear Him every time, lest the earth begin to quake and swallow you by the Command of Allaah Almighty, or He send upon you such storm of stones by which you are ruined. Be careful always and do never any such work which is forbidden by Him. You cannot be saved if He is angry with you. Any disaster can come upon you any time in the world and you can be perished, but the painful torment of the Judgment Day will be separate from it. Believe in it otherwise the time is near to come when the Hour will be before you from which you are being frightened. And then you will be unable to do something.
