Pregnant divorced (L-3283)

ذَٰلِكَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ أَنزَلَهُۥٓ إِلَيْكُمْ وَمَن يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِۦ وَيُعْظِمْ لَهُۥٓ أَجْرًا 5 أَسْكِنُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ سَكَنتُم مِّن وُجْدِكُمْ وَلَا تُضَآرُّوهُنَّ لِتُضَيِّقُوا۟ عَلَيْهِنَّ وَإِن كُنَّ أُو۟لَٰتِ حَمْلٍ فَأَنفِقُوا۟ عَلَيْهِنَّ حَتَّىٰ يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ 6a

5. Zaalika ‘AmrUllaahi ‘anzalahuuu ‘ilay-kum. Wa many-yattaQillaaha yukaffir 'anhu sayyi-‘aatihii wa yu'-zim lahuuu ‘ajraa. 6a. ‘Askinuuhunna min
haysu sakan-tum-minw-wujdikum wa
laa tuzaaarruu-hunna
litu-zayyiquu 'alayhinn.
Wa ‘in- kunna
‘ulaati Hamlin- fa-‘anfiquu
'alay-hinna hattaa yaza'-na
hamlahunn. |

5. That
is the commandment of Allah which He reveals unto you. And whoso keeps his
duty to Allah, He will remit from him his evil deeds and magnify reward for
him. 6a. Lodge
them where you dwell, according to your wealth, and harass them not so as to
straiten life for them. And if they are with child, then spend for them till
they bring forth their burden. |
Previously it was commanded: Think before doing any work concerning the displeasure of Allaah Almighty. It is called “Abstinence”. It aims “Abstaining from sins due to fear of Allaah Almighty. He will make ease in the works of that person who will be abstinent.
It is commanded: These are Commandments of Allaah which He has sent to you. He will give reward and remove the wrong deeds of those who will abide by His Commandments. Then it is commanded: Lodge the divorced woman (during the term of probation incumbent upon her in consequence of a dissolution of marriage either by divorce or by the death of her husband. After divorce the period is 3 months, and after death of her husband is 4 months and 10 days) in a section of where you dwell out of your means and do not harm them in order to oppress them, thinking that they should get out of your house due to being in trouble. According to Hanfii Sect, this Commandment is for every divorced woman.
After that it is commanded: If a husband
divorced his wife when she was pregnant, then her waiting period would be until
she gave birth, whether it took a long time. During her term her husband who
has divorced her, will be responsible of her alimony.
