They did not believe in Messenger (L-3273)

أَبَشَرٌ يَهْدُونَنَا فَكَفَرُوا۟ وَتَوَلَّوا۟ وَّٱسْتَغْنَى ٱللَّهُ وَٱللَّهُ غَنِىٌّ حَمِيدٌ 6b  زَعَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَن لَّن يُبْعَثُوا۟ قُلْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّى لَتُبْعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلْتُمْ وَذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ 7  فَـَٔامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلنُّورِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلْنَا وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ 8

6b.  ‘a-basharuny-yahduuna-naa.  Fakafaruu   wa  tawallaw-was-tagnAllaah.  Wallaahu  Ganiyyun Hamiid. 7.  Za-'amallaziina  kafaruuu  ‘al-lanyyub-'asuu.  Qul  balaa  wa  Rabbii  latub-'asunna  summa  latunabba-'unna  bimaa  'amiltum.  Wa  zaalika  'alAllaahi  yasiir. 8.  Fa-‘aaminuu  Billaahi  wa  RasuuliHii  wan-Nuurillaziii  ‘anzalNaa.  Wallaahu  bimaa  ta'-maluuna  Khabiir.

6b.  Shall mere mortals guide us? So they disbelieved and turned away, and Allah was independent (of them). Allah is Absolute, Owner of Praise. 7. Those who disbelieve assert that they will not be raised again. Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Yea, verily, by my Lord! You will be raised again and then you will be informed of what you did; and that is easy for Allah. 8. So believe in Allah and His messenger and the light which We have revealed. And Allah is Informed of what you do.

After saying, “Shall human beings guide us?” they denied from obedience of the Prophets (peace be upon them) and said: You are just like us. How can you be superior to us? Allaah Almighty also did not care them. He is Free of need and Praiseworthy, whether anyone believes in His Messengers (peace be upon them) or otherwise. As those disbelieved in the Prophets (peace be upon them), they denied from coming back to life after death also.

Then they had become fearless and began to fulfill their sensual desires carelessly. O Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him)! Say to them, "Your thought is entirely wrong. Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected and you will stand up at your places wherever you will be; then you will surely be informed of what you did in this world. And for Allaah, it is not difficult. So it is better for you that you must believe in Allaah, His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and the Glorious Qur`an, which We have sent down. Allaah Almighty is Acquainted with what you do.
