42. So
let them chat and play until they meet their Day which they are promised, 43. The
day when they come forth from the graves in haste, as racing to a goal, 44. With
eyes aghast, abasement stupefying them: Such is the Day which they are
promised. |
It is commanded: While We described them everything but they did not believe, then you must say to them nothing. Let them remain busy in jesting and amusements. That Day is coming very soon for which it has been promised. When it will come, the entire dead bodies will come out from their graves and begin to run in haste, as though a mark has been fixed towards which they will run (i.e. the Field of Resurrection). Their eyes will be humbled due to fear, and humiliation will cover them from all around. That will be the Day for which it was promised.
That is the end of Chapter seventy. It has been described in
this Chapter: Don’t consider that the Day of Resurrection is a game. Surely
that Day will come. If the mankind desires to get the upper hand on his (by
birth) weaknesses and to dwell a successful life, he should worship Allaah
Almighty, bring out a portion of his wealth for the needy, believe in the Day
of Resurrection and fear the Doom of Allaah Almighty, because that is a
thing to be feared. He should fulfil his sexual desire from his wife only.
Other all ways are prohibited. One must fulfil one’s responsibilities and
covenants, give evidence correctly, offer prayer timely and regularly. Then it
can be hoped that he may enter the Garden.
