The Term of old women and minor girls (L-3282)

وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُۥٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَٰلِغُ أَمْرِهِۦ قَدْ جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدْرًا 3b وَٱلَّٰٓـِٔى يَئِسْنَ مِنَ ٱلْمَحِيضِ مِن نِّسَآئِكُمْ إِنِ ٱرْتَبْتُمْ فَعِدَّتُهُنَّ ثَلَٰثَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَٱلَّٰٓـِٔى لَمْ يَحِضْنَ وَأُو۟لَٰتُ ٱلْأَحْمَالِ أَجَلُهُنَّ أَن يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ وَمَن يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُۥ مِنْ أَمْرِهِۦ يُسْرًا 4 |

3b. Wa many yatawakkal 'alAllaahi fa-Huwa husbuh. ‘InnAllaaha baaligu ‘amrih. Qad ja-'alAllaahu likulli shay-'in qadraa. 4. Wallaaa-'ii
ya-'isna minal-mahiizi min-nisaaa-'ikum ‘inir-tabtum fa-'iddatu-hunna salaa-satu
‘ashhu-rinw- wallaaa-'ii
lam yahizn. Wa
‘ulaatul-‘ahmaali
‘ajalu-hunna ‘any-yaza'-na hamlahunn.
Wa many-yattaQillaaha yaj-'al-lahuu min
‘amrihii yusraa. |

3b. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, He
will suffice him. Lo! Allah brings His command to pass. Allah has set a
measure for all things. 4. And
for such of your women as despair of menstruation, if you doubt, their period
(of waiting) shall be three months, along with those who have it not. And for
those with child, their period shall be till they bring forth their burden.
And whosoever keeps his duty to Allah, He makes his course easy for him. |
It was commanded earlier: Allaah Almighty makes the difficulties ease of those who avoid wrong deeds due to fear of Allaah Almighty, and provides for them from (a quarter) whence they have no expectation.
In this verse, it is commanded: The obedient of Allaah Almighty, who consider that only He fulfills their requirements, and who rely upon Him in their every matter, He is sufficient for them. Indeed, Allaah will accomplish His purpose. He has already set for everything a decreed extent. Therefore your requirement can be fulfilled immediately or it can be delayed.
After that it is commanded concerning the
divorce: Counting of the waiting period after divorce is with effect from the
menses. But those who no longer expect menstruation among your women - if you
doubt, then their period is three months, which is also for those who have not
menstruated so far. And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they
give birth, sooner or later. Whoever fears Allaah - He will make ease
for him of his matter.
