What will happen in the Hereafter (L-3329)

وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ 9  وَلَا يَسْـَٔلُ حَمِيمٌ حَمِيمًا 10  يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ يَوَدُّ ٱلْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِى مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِئِذٍۭ بِبَنِيهِ 11  وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَأَخِيهِ 12  وَفَصِيلَتِهِ ٱلَّتِى تُـْٔوِيهِ 13  وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ يُنجِيهِ 14  كَلَّآ إِنَّهَا لَظَىٰ 15  نَزَّاعَةً لِّلشَّوَىٰ 16  تَدْعُوا۟ مَنْ أَدْبَرَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ 17  وَجَمَعَ فَأَوْعَىٰٓ 18

9.  Wa  takuunul-jibaalu  kal-'ihn. 10.  Wa  laa  yas-'alu  hamiimun  hamiimaa. 11.  Yubassaruunahum.  Ya-wad-dul-mujrimu  law  yaftadii  min  'Azaabi  Yawmi-'izim-  bibaniih. 12.  Wa  saahibatihii  wa  ‘akhiih. 13.  Wa  fasiilathil-latii   tu'-wiih. 14.  Wa  man  fil-‘arzi  jamii-'an,  summa  yunjiih. 15.  Kallaa.  ‘Innahaa  lazaa. 16.  Nazzaa-'atal-lish-shawaa. 17.  Tad-'uu  man  ‘adbara  wa  tawallaa. 18.  Wa  jama-'a  fa-‘aw-'aa.

9. And the hills become as flakes of wool, 10. And no familiar friend will ask a question of his friend 11. Though they will be given sight of them. The guilty man will long to be able to ransom himself from the punishment of that day at the price of his children 12. And his spouse and his brother 13. And his kin that harboured him 14. And all that are in the earth, if then it might deliver him. 15. But nay! For lo! it is the fire of hell 16. Eager to roast; 17. It calls him who turned and fled (from truth), 18. And hoarded (wealth) and withheld it.

It is commanded: When the Day of Resurrection will come, the mountains will become like colored flakes of wool. No friend will ask anything of a friend. They will see one another but will not talk. Every individual will think concerning oneself. Those who have gripped up their loins to disobey the Commands of Allaah Almighty in the world, every one of them will wish that he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children, his wife, his brother or his nearest kindred who shelter him and whoever is on earth entirely so then it could save him. But no one will be able to help any other. Every individual will suffer the consequence of own deeds. Wrongdoers will taste the Flame of the Hell, which will remove their exteriors. It will invite them who turned their backs from the Truth, went away from obedience, collected wealth and hoarded.
