Introduction of Chapter “The Jinn”

Introduction of “The Jinn” (L-3341)

Chapter JINN – (The Jinn) - 72

This is seventy-second Chapter of Holy Qur’an according to order. It was sent down during last days of stay at Makkah. It contains two Sections. There is mention of a natural creature in this Chapter, which; according to Arabic language; is called “The Jinn”, and which cannot be seen by human eyes. For understanding, it must be considered that everything which Allaah Almighty has created; is created from the matter. The matter appears in three forms – solid, fluid {which flows (these both things are visible to human eye)} and there is another form of the matter which is so much transparent that it cannot be seen by human eye, for example, air – in it, there is a lightest part which is called Noor (Light), and another some lighter part exists which is called Naar (Fire). Those, who were created from the Light were Angels, and who were created from the Fire were the Jinn.

Allaah Almighty created some angels and the jinn who dwell on or near the earth at their proper places. Human beings cannot see them y their eyes but feel the jinn by their internal sense. Most of the jinn hover usually on the earth. They have sense and they understand the matter. Therefore, Holy Qur’an addresses to them also: Believe in Allaah Almighty and worship Him with intention. Among them too, there are good and bad people like human beings. It has been described in this Chapter: Say to these people! Some people from the jinn believed being impressed by hearing the Qur’an, returned to their folk and instructed to their people too to believe.

After that it is commanded: Say to the entire human beings and the jinn after describing the circumstances of the jinn: We would have bestowed prosperity to them in the world as well as enriched them with Our blessings if they had chosen Our Path, for judgment that who among them thanks the Lord, and listen to it also: We shall put such people in confusions who will forget Us. And their confusions will be increased day by day. Behold! Masaajid are places for the worship of Allaah. Do neither call any other along with Allaah into them, nor laugh at Our slave (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) who worship Us and nor crowd around him for molesting.

After that, Allaah Almighty commands to the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him): Say to them! I have been bidden that I should not associate any partner with Allaah Almighty and I should convey His Message to His slaves. Now he will regret who will not obey me.
