Unlucky person (L-3323)

وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى لَمْ أُوتَ كِتَٰبِيَهْ 25 وَلَمْ أَدْرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهْ 26 يَٰلَيْتَهَا كَانَتِ ٱلْقَاضِيَةَ 27 مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنِّى مَالِيَهْ 28 هَلَكَ عَنِّى سُلْطَٰنِيَهْ 29 خُذُوهُ فَغُلُّوهُ 30 ثُمَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ 31 ثُمَّ فِى سِلْسِلَةٍ ذَرْعُهَا سَبْعُونَ ذِرَاعًا فَٱسْلُكُوهُ 32 |

25. Wa ‘ammaa man ‘uutiya Kitaabahuu bi-shimaalihii fa-yaquulu yaa-laytanii lam ‘uuta Kitaaabiyah. 26. Wa lam ‘adri maa hisaabiyah. 27. Yaa-laytahaa kaanatil-qaaziyah. 28. Maaa ‘agnaa 'annii maaliyah. 29. Halaka 'annii sultaaniyah. 30. Khuzuuhu fagulluuh. 31. Summal-Jahiima salluuh. 32. Summa
fii silsilatin- zar-'uhaa
sab-'uuna ziraa-'an- faslukuuh. |

25. But
as for him who is given his record in his left hand, he will say: Oh, would
that I had not been given my book 26. And
knew not what my reckoning! 27. Oh,
would that it had been death! 28. My
wealth has not availed me, 29. My
power has gone from me. 30. (It
will be said): Take him and fetter him 31. And
then expose him to hell-fire 32. And
then insert him in a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits. |
It is commanded: The person, whose Character Record will be given in left hand, he will lament and say: Would that I had not received it. Would that I would not have known my accounts. Would that I would have died for always instead of the life of the Hereafter. Alas! I had sufficient wealth in the world but that entire is useless for me today. I was a ruler and had much power, but here; I am helpless and can do nothing for myself. No one turns to me.
When such person will be crying in this way, Allaah Almighty
will Command: Seize him and shackle him. Then
into Hellfire drive him and insert him into a chain whose length is seventy
cubits, so that he must be burnt in the Fire and may not make any movement. Our
Lord! Save us from such Doom. Amen.
