Evil will spread by them (L-3340)

إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرْهُمْ يُضِلُّوا۟ عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوٓا۟ إِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا 27  رَّبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِىَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًۢا 28

27.  ‘Innaka  ‘in-  tazarhum  yuzilluu  'ibaadaka  wa  laa  yaliduuu  ‘illaa  faajiran-  kaffaaraa. 28.  Rabbig-fir  lii  wa  li-waalidayya  wa  liman- dakhala  baytiya  Mu'-minanw-wa  lil-Mu'-miniina  wal-Mu'-minaat.  Wa  laa  tazidiz-zaalimiina  ‘illaa  tabaaraa. (Part One - Half) (Section 2/10)

27. If You should leave them, they will mislead Your slaves and will beget none save lewd ingrates. 28. My Lord! Forgive me and my parents and him who enters my house believing, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin.

Noah (peace be upon him) was praying: So much depravity has spread among these people that if any one of them is saved, he will mislead other people too like himself. They have become unable to understand the Truth. They will always be involved in wrong deeds and go astray. He (peace be upon him) said: O my Lord! If You leave them living on the earth as they are, they will mislead Your servants, and their descendants will also follow them. They will do wrong always and deny the Truth. My Lord! Finish all of them and forgive me if I have committed something wrong during fulfilling my duties, and forgive also to my parents and whoever enters my house, my ship or the place of my worship after believing (whether those are believing men or believing women including those whosoever will come after us until the Hour), and do not increase the wrongdoers and those who deny the Truth except in destruction.

Chapter Noah ends here. It is an advice for those who are entangled in false thoughts and do not come to right path in spite of warning. Appreciate them who tried their best to keep others on the prescribed religion of Allaah Almighty, and who do not let the society spoil, otherwise your end will be bad. Our Lord! Have pity on us. Amen.
