Accepting own fault (L-3343)

وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن تَقُولَ ٱلْإِنسُ وَٱلْجِنُّ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا 5 وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ رِجَالٌ مِّنَ ٱلْإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقًا 6 وَأَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّوا۟ كَمَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَبْعَثَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدًا 7 وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ فَوَجَدْنَٰهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا 8 |

5. Wa ‘annaa zanannaaa ‘al-lan taquulal-‘insu wal-jinnu 'alAllaahi kazibaa. 6. Wa ‘annahuu kaana rijaalum-minal-‘insi ya-'uuzuuna bi-rijaalim-minal-Jinni fa-zaaduuhum rahaqaa. 7. Wa ‘annahum zannuu kamaa zanantum ‘allany-yab-'asAllaahu 'ahadaa. 8. Wa
‘annaa lamasnas-samaaa-'a fa-wajadnaahaa muli-'at
harasan- shadiidanw-wa shuhubaa. |

5. And
lo! we had supposed that humankind and jinn would not speak a lie concerning
Allah - 6. And
indeed (O Muhammad) individuals of humankind used to invoke the protection of
individuals of the jinn, so that they increased them in revolt against
Allah); 7. And
indeed they supposed, even as you suppose, that Allah would not raise anyone
(from the dead) - 8. And
(the Jinn who had listened to the Qur'an said): We had sought the heaven but
had found it filled with strong warders and meteors. |
It is commanded: Explain the state of the jinn before the people. They listened to the verses of Holy Qur’an, returned to their folk and said: We thought in the past that the mankind and the jinn would not say something wrong concerning Allaah Almighty. But it has been proved that we were thinking wrong. Most of the mankind and the jinn tell a lie concerning Allaah Almighty. And we have observed also that most of the mankind consider that the jinn are their protectors and supporters. Consequently, the jinn become proud and think that they are superior to the mankind because they desire to seek refuge in the jinn.
Then they said: Many from the mankind think as many from you
think that Allaah Almighty will not bring back to life again after
death, so there is nothing after this worldly life; and that enjoy your life as
much as you can; you will never be reproduced. After that they said: We have sought to reach the heaven but found it filled
with powerful guards {Angels (peace be upon them) and burning flames
everywhere, which let not anyone from us go near. Such arrangements cannot be
unreasonable. After hearing Holy Qur’an we understood that those
arrangements were preparation for sending the Revelations down.
