They run away from the death

 

They run away from the death (L-3260)

وَلَا يَتَمَنَّوْنَهُۥٓ أَبَدًۢا بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ 7  قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْمَوْتَ ٱلَّذِى تَفِرُّونَ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ مُلَٰقِيكُمْ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَٰلِمِ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ 8

7.  Wa  laa  yatamannaw-nahuuu  ‘abadam-  bimaa  qaddamat  ‘aydiihim.  Wallaahu  'Aliimum-biz-zaalimiin. 8.  Qul  ‘innal-Mawtal-lazii  tafirruuna  minhu  fa-‘innahuu  mulaaqiikum  summa  turad-duuna  ‘ilaa  'Aalimil-Ghaybi wash-Shahaadati  fa-yunabbi-'ukum  bimaa  kuntum  ta'-maluun. (Section 1/11)

7. But they will never long for it because of all that their own hands have sent before, and Allah is Aware of evil-doers. 8. Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Lo! The death from which you shrink will surely meet you, and afterward you will be returned unto the Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, and He will tell you what you used to do.

It was commanded: The Jews neither obey the Commandments of Torah and nor guard them, whereas both of these things were obligatory on them, in spite of it, they used to claim: Only we are among the entire human beings who are favorite people of Allaah. The Paradise has been prepared only for us and after death we shall go directly into it. Say to them! Why then do you not want death if you are true? Why do you collect worldly wealth? If you are truthful in your claim then you should long for death every time, so that you may visit the Paradise immediately and enjoy your next life.

After that it is commanded: They remained always in such condition that they threw the Religion behind and regarded wealth. They opposed the commandments of Torah always. They know that they will be punished in the life after death because they did not do such works which may be useful for them in the Hereafter. Then how can they want death leaving this world? They gripped up their loins for doing wrong, injustice and transgression. Allaah Almighty knows them and their violence well.

Say to them! From the fear of which death you flee and build strong forts for escaping, surely that will come; you will die and be produced before Allaah Almighty, Who is Aware of every apparent and unseen matter. He will inform you about what you used to do in the world and what will be your punishment on the Day of Resurrection.
