Chapter “MA-‘AARIJ” – (The Ascending) - 70

This is Seventieth Chapter of Holy Qur’an, according to order. It was revealed during the primary days of Prophet-hood. It has two Sections. When Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) recited such verses of Holy Qur’an before the Infidels of Makkah, in which those people have been frightened from the Doom who disobey Him, then the Infidels began to laugh. One of those disbelievers (either he was Nazar bin Haris or Abu Jahal) even said ignorantly: O Allaah! Cause to shower stones or send any other painful disaster upon us if it is true.

In this Chapter, those disbelievers have been replied: That; who asks for the Doom, does not understand that what he is saying and demanding how much great calamity. Certainly the Doom will come upon them who deny the Sayings of Our Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). And when it will come then there will be no way of salvation from it because that will be from Allaah Almighty. And there is none who may put His Command off. Have patience if they do not admit! They are unable to see the Day of Resurrection, which is very near according to Us. When that Day will come, the sky will become as molten copper, the hills will become as colored flakes of wool, and no close relative will ask a question of his relative because their reality will be seen clearly. Everyone will think about oneself. They will long to be able to ransom themselves from the punishment at the price of their children, spouses, brothers, kin who harbored them and all that are in the earth, if then it might deliver them. But it will not happen. Their abode will be Fire of the Hell, which will call and invite them who disobeyed the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and Qur’an, who turned and fled from truth, who hoarded the wealth and withheld it, and who did not have belief in Allaah Almighty.

Bear in mind! Deliverance on the Day of Resurrection will be only for them who used to offer prayer always regularly, help the needy and helpless, believe in the Day of Resurrection, fear the Doom of Allaah Almighty and preserve their chastity. They can fulfill their sexual desires from their wives or female serfs only. They should care for the things deposited with them as a trust, fulfill their responsibilities and covenants, and give evidence correctly. It can be hoped that such people will enter the Garden with honor. The Paradise will not be for all mankind. But it will be only for them who believed in Allaah Almighty and acted upon His Commandments. They will be in worst condition who were disobedient in the world.
