Weaknesses of mankind and their cure (a) (L-3330)

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا 19  إِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ جَزُوعًا 20  وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلْخَيْرُ مَنُوعًا 21  إِلَّا ٱلْمُصَلِّينَ 22  ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ دَآئِمُونَ 23  وَٱلَّذِينَ فِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَّعْلُومٌ 24  لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ 25  وَٱلَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ 26  وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِم مُّشْفِقُونَ 27

19.  ‘Innal-  ‘insaana  khuliqa  haluu-'aa. 20.  ‘Izaa  massahush-sharru  jazuu-'aa. 21.  Wa  ‘izaa  massahul-khayru  manuu-'aa. 22.  ‘Illal-Musalliin. 23.  ‘Allaziina  hum  'alaa  Salaati-him  daaa-'imuun. 24.  Wallaziina  fiii  ‘amwaali-him  haqqum- ma'-luum. 25.  Lissaaa-'ili  wal-mahruum. 26.  Wallaziina  yusaddiquuna  bi-Yawmid-Diin. 27.  Wallaziina  hum-min  'azaabi- Rabbihim  mushfiquun.

19. Lo! man was created anxious, 20. Fretful when evil befall him 21. And, when good befall him, grudging; 22. Save worshippers. 23. Who are constant at their worship 24. And in whose wealth there is a right acknowledged 25. For the beggar and the destitute; 26. And those who believe in the Day of Judgment, 27. And those who are fearful of their Lord's doom -

It is commanded: Indeed, the mankind has been created anxious.   When evil touches him, he becomes impatient. When good touches him, he withholds of it. Impatience, confusion and stinginess are always with him. If there is no arrangement of his better training and he is involved in the same depravities, then living in the world becomes difficult for him. Moreover, he must not have any hope of getting something good except restlessness and uneasiness after death.

Now if the mankind wants his betterment, he must establish such society; in which every work is done for Allaah Almighty. All members of the society must be observers of prayer and constant in their prayer. A known right within their wealth must be for the petitioners and the deprived. And they should think that in the life after death they will get reward of their righteous deeds. If they did wrong, would be punished. Everyone must be fearful of the punishment of their Lord and refrain from wicked deeds.
