Review of “The Hypocrites” (L-3269)
Chapter “MUNAAFIQUUN” - (The Hypocrites) - 63
True Muslims could never get rid of such people who apparently were strong Muslims but heartily they did not have belief. It aims that they were Hypocrites. They consider that the Believers are fool who; after putting belief in their hearts; get ready to obey the Commands of Allaah Almighty and follow the Traditions of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) step by step; and do not give any importance to the worldly wealth and honor. The hypocrites are very healthy apparently. Their conversation attracts the people when they talk and incline to them when they flatter. The people are surprised when they address and think that how good they speak. It is very easy for them to cause the people to weep and laugh. Everyone desires to listen to them every time because they promise that they are able to help all. But internally they are entirely hollow. At the time of work they become helpless like little children and run away when they hear any sound. The history is full of the stories of such people. They troubled the Muslims always and whenever their tricks are disclosed; they change their dwellings. They begn their hypocrisy with effect from the times of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) which does not have any end. When any ill happens upon the Muslims, such people become its reason. They are so much cunning that they do not come in the grip of the Law; but arrange for themselves before time. People are vexed from them, Religion is lamenting by them and the world is confused due to them. In short they are such misfortune which does not have any cure. You can observe such people everywhere around you. The Muslims do not have any remedy save it that they should seek refuge in Allaah from them and run away from their conduct. Two things have made them fool – wealth and children, particularly wealth.
Therefore
at the end of the Chapter, it has been instructed: O Believers! The Owner of
everything is Allaah Almighty. He gives wealth which is not for filling
your treasuries. You must spend from it for getting the pleasure of Allaah
Almighty as much as you can spend easily, otherwise at the time of death, you
will repent and die, and you will lose the entire chance of spending. Allaah
Almighty is Aware of your entire works. As you sow so you shall reap.
