Believing by the Jinn (L-3342)

Chapter “JINN” – (The Jinn) - 72

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.

 (I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

قُلْ أُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ أَنَّهُ ٱسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْءَانًا عَجَبًا 1  يَهْدِىٓ إِلَى ٱلرُّشْدِ فَـَٔامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَلَن نُّشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَآ أَحَدًا 2  وَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةً وَلَا وَلَدًا 3  وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ يَقُولُ سَفِيهُنَا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ شَطَطًا 4

1.  Qul  ‘uuhiya  ilayya  ‘annna-  hus-tama-'a  nafarum-minal- Jinni  faqaaluuu  ‘innaa  sami'-naa.  Qur-‘aanan  ‘ajabaa. 2.  Yahdiii  ‘ilar-Rushdi  fa-‘aamannaa  bih.  Wa  lan-nushrika  bi-Rabbinaaa  'ahadaa. 3.  Wa  ‘annahuu  Ta-'aalaa  Jaddu  Rabbinaa  mat-takhaza  saahi-batanw-wa  laa  waladaa. 4.  Wa  ‘annahuu  kaana  yaquulu  safiihunaa  'alAllaahi  shatataa.

1. Say (O Muhammad): It is revealed unto me that a company of the Jinn gave ear, and they said: Lo! we have heard a marvelous Qur'an, 2. Which guides unto righteousness, so we believe in it and we ascribe no partner unto our Lord. 3. And (we believe) that He - exalted be the glory of our Lord! - has taken neither wife nor son, 4. And that the foolish one among us used to speak concerning Allah an atrocious lie.

It is commanded: O Our Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him): Recite Qur’an before these people which Allaah Almighty has revealed to you that a group of the jinn listened to it, returned to their folk and said, “Indeed, this is an amazing Qur`an which we have heard. It guides to the quite right course. We have accepted it wholeheartedly and believed in it. We will never associate with our Lord anyone. And we have understood that Exalted is the Nobleness of our Lord. There is no one greater than Him. He has neither taken a wife nor a son. These entire are excessive transgressions which our foolish people have been saying about Allaah Almighty. The greatest foolish is Satan who has spread such words among us.

Known from it is that as some human beings have gone astray, tell a lie in every affair and have false thoughts, like them there are some people among the jinn too who think wrong and tell a lie.
